Hi! I'm Jackie, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with a master’s degree in Christian Counseling from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. Hello, my name is Deepa Mary Panicker, and I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate. I earned my Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University, Virginia. I have been blessed with a wonderful husband and two lovely kids. Outside of work, I love to spend time with my family and friends. I also enjoy reading, traveling, trying out new recipes, art, and music.

My therapeutic approach can be considered eclectic and integrative. I believe every person is unique and I aim to create a personalized goal that fits the needs of each client. I strongly believe that everyone deserves a non-judgmental space to freely express their emotions and thoughts, to uncover their potential and connect with their inner self.

With over 25+ years in Education and 8 years in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I specialize in Play Therapy and Social Emotional Learning and am currently pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Play Therapy. I have a master’s in education, a master’s in clinical Mental Health Counseling, and a Graduate Certificate in School Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I work full-time as a Professional School Counselor at J.N. Fries Middle School and provide part-time counseling services in the community. I am committed to helping young people develop self-regulation skills and am eager to share my experiences to positively impact my community. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and sending greeting cards to loved ones.

In addition, I can help you if you suffer from anxiety, clinical depression, grief, complex grief response, adjustment disorders, and core trauma issues.

I am skilled in crisis intervention and family dynamics, and I offer behavioral support for at-risk youth, mentoring roles, and case management. My approach is strengths-focused, helping children and young adults manage anxiety, depression, and self-esteem challenges. My goal is to empower individuals to cultivate self-compassion, recognize their strengths, and build resilience. Driven by empathy and commitment to positive outcomes, I am dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment for those seeking to enhance their mental health and well-being.
